Grand Illumination

Bringing Light and Restoring Hope

Normandie Ridge Grande Illumination:

December 16, 18, 24

RiverWoods Grande Illumination:

December 15, 17, 19

December is a time when we see many celebrations of faith involving candles – lights that guide us, providing warmth and illumination. As Albright, our Grande Illumination events are an opportunity to bring light and hope into the lives of those among us who are in need of benevolent care.

We suggest a $25 minimum donation per luminary.

Each year luminaries are fashioned by RiverWoods and Normandie Ridge residents and placed around each campus with the help of volunteers from our local communities. Each luminary represents a tribute in honor, in memory, or in recognition of being blessed by a family member, friend or neighbor. For three nights on each campus, residents and community volunteers gather to light 1,000 candles in cheerful holiday fashion. A reception is held, and all donor, honorees and volunteers are invited to attend.

All proceeds from Grande Illumination are used to cover the essentials of benevolent care such as room, meals, medication, and transportation and escort to and from doctor visits. In 2013, Albright delivered $545,530 of benevolent care to residents at RiverWoods and Normandie Ridge and LIFE participants. This is why our special events are so very important. We are grateful to all of our donors and sponsors.
